Opened on the 1st of May 2013, by Chris McMahon, The Treatment Room is a health and wellness facility located in Maynooth, Co. Kildare offering Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Meditation classes, Beginners Tai-Chi Classes, Massage and new treatments such as Quantum Coherence Therapy and Ear Candling. Based on the ancient principles of Chinese Medicine and supported by recent discoveries in the fields of Quantum Physics, Quantum Mechanics and Western Medicine, these treatment methods have a wide range of health benefits and can treat a diverse range of medical conditions, including:

• A 70% Alcohol Gel Dispenser has been installed immediately inside the front door.
• A non contact Infrared Thermometer has been purchased, for easy temperature checks.
• 70% 'Azo' Alcohol Wipes are used as standard, for cleaning all surfaces between Client appointments.
• These surfaces include the treatment table, all chairs & door handles, taps, bannisters etc.
• An Anti-Viral 'Tea Tree Oil' Diffuser is running in the office, throughout the entire day.
• Face Masks are currently mandatory in Health Care settings, as per HSE guidelines.
• Plastic Gloves are worn where required.

About The Treatment Room

The Treatment Room also treats Children, Babies, Toddlers and Teenagers. In addition, House calls are possible for those who are too sick to travel, provided sufficient notice is given. We also treat pregnant ladies for a range of conditions including Morning Sickness and Exhaustion.

All appointments at The Treatment Room must be made in advance. Unfortunately walk-in enquiries cannot be facilitated. Please note that The Treatment Room is not an emergency service, and is closed at the weekends.

Cancellation Policy

The Treatment Room has a 24 hour Appointment cancellation policy. This means, that if you fail to provide us with at least 24 hours notice of cancellation of your Appointment, that you shall be liable for the full fee.
